2013-12-11ARM: tegra: document reset properties in DT bindingsStephen Warren
Update all the Tegra DT bindings to require resets/reset-names properties where the HW module has reset inputs. Remove any entries from clocks or clock-names that were only required to identify reset inputs, rather than referring to real clocks. This is a DT-ABI-incompatible change. It is the first of two changes required for me to consider the Tegra DT bindings as stable, the other being conversion to the common DMA DT bindings. 2013-12-11ARM: tegra: add missing clock documentation to DT bindingsStephen Warren
Many of the Tegra DT binding documents say nothing about the clocks or clock-names properties, yet those are present and required in DT files. This patch simply updates the documentation file to match the implicit definition of the binding, based on real-world DT content. All Tegra bindings that mention clocks are updated to have consistent wording and formatting of the clock-related properties. 2013-11-11Input: ti_am335x_tsc - fix spelling mistake in TSC/ADC DT bindingFelipe Balbi
There was a spelling mistake on TSC/ADC binding where "coordinate" was spelled as "coordiante". We can't simply fix the error due to DT being an ABI, the approach taken was to first use correct spelling and if that fails, fall back to miss-spelled version. It's unfortunate that has creeped into the tree. Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>

2013-02-08input: Extend matrix-keypad device tree bindingSimon Glass
Some matrix keypad drivers can support different numbers of rows and columns. Add a generic binding for these. Implementation note: In order to implement this binding in the kernel, we will need to modify matrix_keypad_() to look up the number of rows and cols in the keymap. Perhaps this could be done by passing 0 for these parameters? Many of the parameters can already be set to NULL. Ick. 2012-06-12Input: twl6040-vibra - update for device tree supportPeter Ujfalusi
The twl6040 DT support implementation has been changed from the originally planned. None of the child devices going to have compatible_of property which means that the child devices of twl6040 will be created as traditional MFD devices. The mfd core driver will decide (based on the DT blob) to create a device for the twl6040-vibra or not. If the DT blob has 'vibra' section the device will be created without pdata. In this case the vibra driver will reach up to the parent node to get the needed properties. With DT booted kernel we no longer be able to link the regulators to the vibra driver, they can be only linked to the MFD device (probed via DT). From the vibra driver we ned to use pdev->dev.parent to get the regulators. Signed-off-by: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dtor@mail.ru>
2012-06-11dt: name all Tegra binding docs consistentlyStephen Warren
Rename all Tegra binding documentation according to the first or primary compatible value they describe. This provides a clear naming scheme for the files, and prevents any naming conflicts should future SoC versions require their own binding. Signed-off-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@nvidia.com>

Enable DT based probing of the vibra driver. Example of dts section to load the twl6040-vibra driver: twl6040: twl6040@4b { ... twl6040_vibra: twl6040@1 { compatible = "ti,twl6040-vibra"; interrupts = <4>; vddvibl-supply = <&vbat>; vddvibr-supply = <&vbat>; vibldrv_res = <8>; vibrdrv_res = <3>; viblmotor_res = <10>; vibrmotor_res = <10>; }; }; [Sasha Levin <levinsasha928@gmail.com>: fixed build error] Signed-off-by: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dtor@mail.ru>
