2012-10-30ARM: shmobile: Remove G4EVM machine supportNobuhiro Iwamatsu
This machine is using old CPU of shmobile (sh7377) and cannot obtain machine, either. Therefore, remove G4EVM support. Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <nobuhiro.iwamatsu.yj@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Simon Horman <horms@verge.net.au>
2012-10-01Merge tag 'multiplatform' of ↵Linus Torvalds
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc Pull ARM soc multiplatform enablement from Olof Johansson: "This is a pretty significant branch. It's the introduction of the first multiplatform support on ARM, and with this (and the later branch) merged, it is now possible to build one kernel that contains support for highbank, vexpress, mvebu, socfpga, and picoxcell. More platforms will be convered over in the next few releases. Two critical last things had to be done for this to be practical and possible: * Today each platform has its own include directory under mach-<mach>/include/mach/*, and traditionally that is where a lot of driver/platform shared definitions have gone, such as platform data structures. They now need to move out to a common location instead, and this branch moves a large number of those out to include/linux/platform_data. * Each platform used to list the device trees to compile for its boards in mach-<mach>/Makefile.boot. Both of the above changes will mean that there are some merge conflicts to come (and some to resolve here). It's a one-time move and once it settles in, we should be good for quite a while. Sorry for the overhead." Fix conflicts as per Olof. * tag 'multiplatform' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (51 commits) ARM: add v7 multi-platform defconfig ARM: msm: Move core.h contents into common.h ARM: highbank: call highbank_pm_init from .init_machine ARM: dtb: move all dtb targets to common Makefile ARM: spear: move platform_data definitions ARM: samsung: move platform_data definitions ARM: orion: move platform_data definitions ARM: vexpress: convert to multi-platform ARM: initial multiplatform support ARM: mvebu: move armada-370-xp.h in mach dir ARM: vexpress: remove dependency on mach/* headers ARM: picoxcell: remove dependency on mach/* headers ARM: move all dtb targets out of Makefile.boot ARM: picoxcell: move debug macros to include/debug ARM: socfpga: move debug macros to include/debug ARM: mvebu: move debug macros to include/debug ARM: vexpress: move debug macros to include/debug ARM: highbank: move debug macros to include/debug ARM: move debug macros to common location ARM: make mach/gpio.h headers optional ...
2012-09-18ARM: shmobile: use __iomem pointers for MMIOArnd Bergmann
ARM is moving to stricter checks on readl/write functions, so we need to use the correct types everywhere. This patch is a bit ugly for shmobile, which is the only platform that just uses integer literals all over the place, but I can't see a better way to do this. 2012-09-14ARM: shmobile: move custom gpio functions to sh-gpio.hRob Herring
Move custom shmobile gpio code to a sh-gpio.h to remove the dependency on mach/gpio.h. shmobile always uses gpiolib, so we can remove __GPIOLIB_COMPLEX define from mach/gpio.h. 2012-06-30ARM: shmobile: use common extra gpio functions on g4evmKuninori Morimoto
This patch switch over to use common extra gpio method, and reduced a waste of code on SH-ARM. But these functions should be replaced by correct gpio function in the future. 2012-03-29Merge branch 'for-linus' of git://git.linaro.org/people/rmk/linux-armLinus Torvalds
Pull more ARM updates from Russell King. This got a fair number of conflicts with the <asm/system.h> split, but also with some other sparse-irq and header file include cleanups. 2012-03-12ARM: mach-shmobile: sh7377 and G4EVM timer reworkMagnus Damm
Move the SoC specific timer code from G4EVM board code to sh7377 setup code. This makes is possible to share the SoC specific timer code across boards and it also removes the need for a board specific timer structure. 2012-01-25ARM: shmobile: remove NR_IRQSRob Herring
Remove NR_IRQS and explicitly include mach/irqs.h as needed. shmobile properly allocates irq_descs for each irqchip, so setting .nr_irqs for each machine is not needed. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <rob.herring@calxeda.com>
2012-01-02ARM: mach-shmobile: use standard 2MiB coherent DMA memory sizeMagnus Damm
The 158MiB memory area was used to support HD resolution multimedia workloads using the same legacy memory allocating solution as on SH. There are no in-tree kernel dependencies on the 158MiB setting, and future development should reserve and allocate memory using some other method like for instance CMA. 2011-01-12ARM: mach-shmobile: sh7377 Enable SDIO IRQsMagnus Damm
This patch enables interrupt generation for SDIO IRQs of the SDHI block on the sh7377 aka G4 processor. 2010-10-20arm: remove machine_desc.io_pg_offst and .phys_ioNicolas Pitre
Since we're now using addruart to establish the debug mapping, we can remove the io_pg_offst and phys_io members of struct machine_desc. The various declarations were removed using the following script: grep -rl MACHINE_START arch/arm | xargs \ sed -i '/MACHINE_START/,/MACHINE_END/ { /\.\(phys_io\|io_pg_offst\)/d }' [ Initial patch was from Jeremy Kerr, example script from Russell King ] Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nicolas.pitre@linaro.org> Acked-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao at canonical.com>

2010-04-07ARM: mach-shmobile: Add SDHI supportKuninori Morimoto
This patch add SDHI support for G4 board. Current gpio frame work doesn't have the method to control only pull-up/down/free. So, it have special gpio_pull_up function for SDHI. It is quick hack, so this function should be replaced by correct gpio frame work in future.
