2013-06-01parport_pc: disable PARPORT_PC_SUPERIO on parisc architectureHelge Deller
If enabled, CONFIG_PARPORT_PC_SUPERIO scans on PC-like hardware for various super-io chips by accessing i/o ports in a range which will crash any parisc hardware at once. In addition, parisc has it's own incompatible superio chip (CONFIG_SUPERIO), so if we disable PARPORT_PC_SUPERIO completely for parisc we can avoid that people by accident enable the parport_pc superio option too. 2012-11-15drivers/parport: remove depends on CONFIG_EXPERIMENTALKees Cook
The CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL config item has not carried much meaning for a while now and is almost always enabled by default. As agreed during the Linux kernel summit, remove it from any "depends on" lines in Kconfigs. 2008-02-08mn10300: add the MN10300/AM33 architecture to the kernelDavid Howells
Add architecture support for the MN10300/AM33 CPUs produced by MEI to the kernel. This patch also adds board support for the ASB2303 with the ASB2308 daughter board, and the ASB2305. The only processor supported is the MN103E010, which is an AM33v2 core plus on-chip devices. 2006-06-18[SERIAL] PARPORT_SERIAL should depend on SERIAL_8250_PCIRussell King
Since parport_serial uses symbols from 8250_pci, there should be a dependency between the configuration symbols for these two modules. Problem reported by Andrey Borzenkov Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-02-03[PATCH] parport: add parallel port support for SGI O2Arnaud Giersch

2005-05-04[PATCH] ISA_DMA Kconfig fixes - part 2 (parport_pc)Al Viro
Part of parport_pc that uses ISA DMA helpers made conditional on CONFIG_ISA_DMA_API. As the result, driver got usable for boxen that do not have ISA DMA stuff and have normal PCI parport card stuck into them - these never use DMA anyway. 2005-04-16Linux-2.6.12-rc2Linus Torvalds
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
