2013-05-18drivers/watchdog: don't check resource with devm_ioremap_resourceWolfram Sang
devm_ioremap_resource does sanity checks on the given resource. No need to duplicate this in the driver. Signed-off-by: Wolfram Sang <wsa@the-dreams.de>
2013-05-09watchdog: Convert to devm_ioremap_resource()Sachin Kamat
Use the newly introduced devm_ioremap_resource() instead of devm_request_and_ioremap() which provides more consistent error handling. devm_ioremap_resource() provides its own error messages; so all explicit error messages can be removed from the failure code paths. 2013-03-01watchdog: ath79_wdt: get register base from platform device's resourcesGabor Juhos
The ath79_wdt driver uses a fixed memory address currently. Although this is working with each currently supported SoCs, but this may change in the future. Additionally, the driver includes platform specific header files in order to be able to get the memory base of the watchdog device. The patch adds a memory resource to the platform device, and converts the driver to get the base address of the watchdog device from that. 2013-03-01watchdog: ath79_wdt: convert to use devm_clk_getGabor Juhos
Use the managed version of clk_get. This allows to simplify the probe/remove functions a bit. Signed-off-by: Gabor Juhos <juhosg@openwrt.org> Signed-off-by: Wim Van Sebroeck <wim@iguana.be>
2012-12-19watchdog: ath79_wdt: convert to use module_platform_driverGabor Juhos
This makes the code a bit smaller by getting rid of some boilerplate code. Signed-off-by: Gabor Juhos <juhosg@openwrt.org> Signed-off-by: Wim Van Sebroeck <wim@iguana.be>

2012-03-27watchdog: nowayout is boolWim Van Sebroeck
nowayout is actually a boolean value. So make it bool for all watchdog device drivers. Signed-off-by: Wim Van Sebroeck <wim@iguana.be>

2012-01-06watchdog: ath79_wdt: flush register writesGabor Juhos
The watchdog register writes required to have a flush in order to commit the values to the register. Without the flush, the driver not function correctly on AR934X SoCs.
