With the SA1100 and PXA RTC drivers be mutually exclusive and no longer sharing hardware, PXA27x/PXA3xx platforms must use the PXA RTC driver as the SA1100 platform device is no longer registered. This change should be transparent to userspace, but the first reboot after the switch will have the wrong time. 2015-06-23rtc: sa1100/pxa: convert to run-time register mappingRob Herring
SA1100 and PXA differ only in register offsets which are currently hardcoded in a machine specific header. Some arm64 platforms (PXA1928) have this RTC block as well (and not the PXA270 variant). Convert the driver to use ioremap and set the register offsets dynamically. Since we are touching all the register accesses, convert them all to readl_relaxed/writel_relaxed. The drivers for the SA1100 and PXA RTCs are now mutually exclusive, so add the memory resource for the sa1100-rtc device. Since the memory resource is already present in the pxa_rtc_resources, that makes sa1100_rtc_resources and pxa_rtc_resources equivalent, so use pxa_rtc_resources for both devices and remove the duplicate sa1100_rtc_resources. 2015-06-23rtc: pxa: convert to use shared sa1100 functionsRob Herring
Currently, the rtc-sa1100 and rtc-pxa drivers co-exist as rtc-pxa has a superset of functionality. Having 2 drivers sharing the same memory resource is not allowed by the driver model if resources are properly declared. This problem was avoided by not adding memory resources to the SA1100 RTC driver, but that prevents clean-up of the SA1100 driver. This commit converts the PXA RTC to use the exported SA1100 RTC functions. Now the sa1100-rtc and pxa-rtc devices are mutually exclusive, so we must remove the sa1100-rtc from pxa27x and pxa3xx. Add initial clock support for Marvell PXA1928. The PXA1928 is a mobile SOC and is similar to other MMP/PXA series of SOCs, so a lot of the existing infrastructure is reused here. In preparation to enable ARCH_MMP on ARM64, a couple of fixes are needed to build the pxa3xx_nand driver: Legacy DMA will only used on ARM, so also make it condtional on CONFIG_ARM. __raw_{read,write}sl are not available on ARM64 or generically, so use the readsl/writesl variants instead. Somewhat inconsistently, {read,write}sl are inherently non-swapping with the generic version using __raw_{read,write}l. 2015-06-23usb: chipidea: add work-around for Marvell HSIC PHY startupRob Herring
The Marvell 28nm HSIC PHY requires the port to be forced to HS mode after the port power is applied. This is done using the test mode in the PORTSC register. As HSIC is always HS, this work-around should be safe to do with all HSIC PHYs and has been tested on i.MX6S. Currently, ci_default_pdata is common to all instances of the driver and gets modified by the core driver code. This is bad if there are multiple instances of the device with different settings such as the phy type. Fix this by making a copy of the default platform_data. Since when we start discussions about the usage Media Controller for complex hardware, one thing become clear: the way it is, MC fails to map anything different than capture/output/m2m video-only streaming. The point is that MC has entities named as devnodes, but the only devnode used (before the DVB patches) is MEDIA_ENT_T_DEVNODE_V4L. Due to the way MC got implemented, however, this entity actually doesn't represent the devnode, but the hardware I/O engine that receives data via DMA. By coincidence, such DMA is associated with the V4L device node on webcam hardware, but this is not true even for other V4L2 devices. For example, on USB hardware, the DMA is done via the USB controller. The data passes though a in-kernel filter that strips off the URB headers. Other V4L2 devices like radio may not even have DMA. When it have, the DMA is done via ALSA, and not via the V4L devnode. In other words, MC is broken as a whole, but tagging it as BROKEN right now would do more harm than good. So, instead, let's mark, for now, the DVB part as broken and block all new changes to MC while we fix this mess, whith we hopefully will do for the next Kernel version.
